Y

Wing Yuen is a founding partner of YY Projects. She holds a master's degree in architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. She is the recipient of several design honors, including the Lee F. Fallman Scholarship, and served as teaching assistant for Harvard GSD's undergraduate design studios and graduate thesis seminar. Her work has been published in SHINKENCHIKU, Gooood, Circus, and exhibited at Maine's Hopkins Wharf Gallery. Prior to establishing YY Projects, Yuen worked on high-profile projects at IwamotoScott, Neri & Hu, NADAAA, Weiss/Manfredi, and WRNS Studio.

Jonathan Yeung is a founding partner of YY Projects. He is a lecturer at the University of Hong Kong teaching design studios and has lectured at Kyoto Seika University and the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong. In addition to his teaching roles, he also writes for ArchDaily as a contributing external collaborator. During his academic journey, he was previously awarded the Alpha Rho Chi medal and the Edward Kraft Award.

Jonathan has professional experience from various international practices, including Toshiko Mori Architect, Michael Maltzan Architecture, teamLab, Sasaki, Sidell Pakravan Architects, and more. He is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects and a member of Docomomo Hong Kong. Jonathan holds an M.Arch. with Distinction from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and has studied at the University of Cambridge and Doshisha University in Kyoto. He earned his B.A. in Architecture with Highest Honors from UC Berkeley, where he was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Medal.
